I have been a Jon Richardson fan for a couple of years mainly from his role on 8 out of 10 cats but also from seeing bits of his stand up.
After hearing about this book I decided I really should give it a read and although I enjoyed it my mini crush on Jon has now gone.
He is a bit too particular things have to be in there place for him and it shocked me when he revealed he would be put off a girl if she fell over as he sees that as a failure!
The book focuses on Gemma a girl who works at a local restaurant and gives Jon her number he is torn whether he should date her or not?
But will his thoughts about what will happen to them in 80 years time stop it happening?
This book was funny, quite shocking and a real insight into this long-term single comedian. If you like a witty narrative and judgemental writing this is for you.
Would I recommend it? Yes
